Lighting the Way activates the stairwells and offers calm in a hectic day. The windows overlay views onto the campus. They project patterns into the stairwells ever-changing with the season, time of day and weather. Evenings, the illuminated windows provide walkers-by and library users bright color and further opportunities for contemplation.
I welcome commissions that take advantage of natural light to create a contemplative, spiritual space. This video goes into depth about spiritual themes in my work.
