Fine Art: Explosions, 2014-2017
The landscape in which I found myself was beyond my recognition. I painted my way through loss. I questioned what had held things together, and what may never have been there in the first place. I painted the possibility of renewal and connection. I washed shimmering gold onto the page as a declaration of good and sacredness. I looked for beauty and balance. In these works, I explore my long-held preoccupation with manifesting harmony and tension between entities, and with finding calm within tumult.
